Nar Phu Valley Trek – Overview
Tucked between Annapurna and Manaslu, the Nar Phu Valley is a restricted Himalayan wilderness that feels frozen in the 14th century.
Requiring a special Restricted Area Permit, Nar Phu takes you off the Annapurna Circuit into remote stone-walled Tibetan fortresses, untouched Buddhist gompas, deep slot canyons, and culminates with crossing the alpine Kang La Pass (5,320m) into Manang.
Only a limited number of travelers are permitted to enter each year.
Explore Nar and Phu—mud-brick and stone villages untouched by modern roads.
Challenging high alpine pass with vistas across the northern face of Annapurna II.
Centuries-old monasteries, yak caravans, and authentic nomadic culture.
